here I am, never thought that i would start a blog, but here i am. this is our little victorian house is swan quarter, nc i still live in montauk, nc, which i adore ( until we 'retire', whatever that means...) and then we move to swan quarter. i love swan quarter.
a precious small village on the inner banks coast of Hyde County, its a paradise. actually it reminds me a whole lot of montauk, the way it wasyears ago...
nel, my wonderful daughter-in-law and i started 10 issues ago the
Scuppernong Gazette for Columbia, NC and Tyrrell County where she lives with our son Dominic and then last winter the Swan Quarterly for Swan Quarter, NC and Hyde County. it is 45 minutes between our house and theirs. Neli and Dom got married at the 4-H Center in Columbia, NC on November 18th 2006. our older son Thorsten got married to Simone on September 3rd 2005, first in Wilhelmshaven, Germany and we held a second wedding for their friends at Gurney's Inn in Montauk, NY.
